* Organized, detail-oriented, and tech savvy (MS Office)
* Experience in healthcare, senior living, or admin is an asset
* Must complete a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Adults)

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, we pause to honour the children who never returned home, and the Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s final report and its 94 Calls to Action. It is a time to reflect on the path toward healing, understanding, and reconciliation, and to recognize the work that remains.

At The Vineyards Residence, we acknowledge the importance of this day and the responsibility we all share in learning, listening, and fostering a community of respect. We also take a moment to honour our staff and residents for their continued commitment to compassion, inclusivity, and care.

May today remind us of the truth, inspire us to take steps toward reconciliation, and encourage us to keep these conversations alive—not only today, but every day.

This is Housekeepers Appreciation Week! And boy do we appreciate our team 🩷

A Cheer for Our Housekeeping Crew

From floor one to floor five, they roam with pride,
Armed with mops and smiles, side by side.
They polish, they dust, they vacuum with flair,
It seems not a speck dares linger there!

In residents’ rooms, they brighten the day,
With kindness and chatter along the way.
A helping hand here, a quick joke there,
They show every moment how much they care.

Families love them, staff love them too,
(They’ve probably cleaned up after me or after you!)
From spills to surprises, from big mess to small,
Our housekeeping heroes can tackle it all.

So today we applaud you—hip hip hooray!
You keep us shining in every way.
