At Blissful Baby Planning, we’re here to help you navigate this challenging time with confidence and support. Whether you’re struggling to find care or simply feeling overwhelmed, we offer expert guidance, resources, and personalized planning to help you feel informed and empowered throughout your pregnancy journey. *WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE PRENATAL CARE IN PREGNANCY but we can provide resources and check ins to ensure you are feeling prepared and supported in your pregnancy.

Blissful Baby Prenatal Classes are designed to help you feel confident, informed, and supported as you prepare for one of life’s most transformative journeys.

Our classes cover everything from the stages of labour and delivery to comfort measures, birth preferences, and postpartum recovery. You’ll also learn essential newborn care skills, including feeding, soothing, diapering, and understanding your baby’s cues.

Led by experienced professionals, our sessions offer a safe space to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with other expecting families.

For those families with no Maternity Care Provider, we are offering additional phone/email support as part of your prenatal package.

From prenatal education to postpartum support, you are not alone—we’re here to walk beside you every step of the way.

As you embark on your breastfeeding journey, one of the most common concerns is “do I have enough milk”.

Here are some pointers to help build up your milk supply:

🤍Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate. Drinking enough water is so important. I’ll admit though, sometimes water can be boring. I’m a huge fan of Electrolytes and Enhanced Collagen, I’ll easily take in 2litres of water a day with my electrolytes added.

🤍Nourish your body. Be sure you are eating well and continue to take your prenatal vitamins. You are burning calories as you nurse your baby, your body needs to be replenished. And did you know, low iron can cause low milk supply? It is such a delicate balance.

🤍 Be sure to get the rest and support you need. Ask friends and family for help if you need. Communicate your needs to you partner so they know how to best support you. Check out community resources that specialize in breastfeeding and maternal health. It truly does take a village.

🤍Pumping after breastfeeding for 10mins each side, or 10 minutes of double pumping may help increase your supply. The more you stimulate, the more you trigger your body to produce more milk. Traditionally called Supply-Demand, but it’s more of a Demand = Supply. Be sure your pump is a good fit, is comfortable and effective. Wearable Pumps are not ideal if you have a low milk supply - they just don’t stimulate as well. Pumps we like, Spectra or Medela (not the wearable one but the fl**ge type).

🤍Herbal Supplements. I am a big fan of Ma’s Milk. I think every breastfeeding mama should have a bottle of this supplement. Tina is a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 28 years of experience in maternity care, specializing in neonatal and perinatal nursing. With a career spanning a diverse range of roles, she has worked 15 years in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), 10 years in pediatric respite care, and 28 years in Public Heath providing compassionate and expert care to infants and their families in those first days home. 🤍

Tina’s passion for nursing and commitment to supporting families during critical moments have defined her career, as she has always known she wanted to work in the field of newborn and family care. Her extensive background in maternal/newborn and her deep dedication to her patients reflect her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of the families she works with. 🤍

Blissful Baby Planning Prenatal was created back in 2010 when Tina and Sheri recognized a gap in the availability of comprehensive prenatal education and decided to address the need for a more thorough prenatal class. They observed that many existing classes lacked in-depth coverage of both the physical and emotional aspects of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. By developing a more holistic approach, they aimed to provide expecting parents with the knowledge and confidence they needed to navigate the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum ensuring families were well-prepared for every step of the journey 🤍

Tina and Sheri are acutely aware of trust and faith families place in them when it comes to advice, knowledge and support. They are there for you and thank you for letting them be a part of your childbirth journey 🤍
