We had the annual Resident Christmas Party yesterday and we had a wonderful afternoon. Erik our Chef did an outstanding job with the food and Emily did an amazing job with all the baking. We had Harold Sher here to perform for us and a special visit from Santa. So much fun was had by all.

We had a spooktacular good time at our Halloween Party last Friday. Special thanks to Harold Sher, our amazing staff and the folks from Valley First Credit Union for coming up and handing out treats for our residents.

The Highlands was recently donated 2 lovely gift baskets. We decided we would raffle them off to raise money for our local food bank. With kindness and generosity our residents raised over $100 for the Central Okanagan Food Bank! Here is a picture of our winners.

We had a wonderful summer this year at the Highlands. The weather so far this fall has aloud us to extend our out door activities. It has been so lovely.

We had some landscaping done on the grounds. We want to share the before and after photos. We also wish to thank Pristine Landscaping and all the crew for all their hard work in creating this new beautiful space for the residents to enjoy. Thank you Pristine!!

June was a very busy month, we had the lovely ladies of The Belles of the Okanagan. We celebrated Father's Day with a B.B.Q. Lunch and great entertainment from Play-it- Again Sam. Fun was had by all. We also had a Walking Club stroll through the Beautiful Gardens at Guisachan Heritage Park.
