What are your thoughts on this topic?

Relying only on the “gluten-free” label is helpful when you’re first starting out, but in the long term, it can keep you second-guessing every ingredient and make social events, travel, and holiday meals feel overwhelming.

The key to true confidence with Celiac is expanding your label reading skills so you can enjoy more variety safely and without fear.

Like my client Marci, who once worried she was constantly contaminating herself that she only ate foods labeled gluten-free and still had persistent symptoms. Now, she’s feeling better than ever and confidently eating anything that’s gluten-free, labeled or not!

Or Rianne, who once spent hours grocery shopping but now gets it done fast — just like she used to!

That’s why I created the 3 Step Guide to Label Reading: Confidently read a label in 30 seconds flat so you can stop relying on Google! It’s a simple, practical way to shop with confidence and feel fully in control of your food choices.

💬 Comment “LABEL” if you want me to send you the free guide so you can start reading labels confidently today.

And there’s more coming this Black Friday to help you enjoy the holiday season without stress. Think eating out, parties, and festive meals made simple and safe. Announcement coming soon 👀

✨ Meet Katie ✨

When Katie was first diagnosed with celiac disease, she felt completely overwhelmed. Grocery shopping became stressful, because the only foods she trusted were labeled “gluten free,” which meant many of her family’s go-to staples disappeared overnight.

At home, she was constantly on edge about cross contact: worried about sponges, crumbs on the counter, and having gluten in the kitchen with four kids.

Social events brought on even more anxiety: potlucks, girls’ trips, dinner with friends, and even simple family outings suddenly felt impossible.

Inside of the Confident Celiac program, we worked step by step to bring the stress down and her confidence up. Together we:

✅ Mastered label reading so she could bring back her favorite foods (yes, even her family’s beloved salad dressing!) ✅ Softened her anxiety around cross contact with clear, simple strategies ✅ Used my 3-step framework + restaurant scripts so she could eat out with ease ✅ Built cheat sheets for social events and busy nights to keep food stress low ✅ Created a meal plan system that works for her busy life as a mom of 4

And the wins started rolling in fast…

✨ She went through her first drive-through at Starbucks and ordered a latte + egg bites ✨ Enjoyed a GF burger with her family for Mother’s Day ✨ Said yes to brunch with her girlfriends and felt fully included ✨ Camped with friends, shared food, and felt confident ✨ Took a 2-week family vacation where she ate at the same restaurants as everyone else (with just a few tweaks!) ✨ Updated her healing tracker with new bloodwork and saw real improvements after just 3 months

Now Katie isn’t just “surviving” celiac disease, she’s thriving, enjoying food again, and living life without the constant fear of gluten.

This is what happens when you have the tools, strategies, and support to make celiac feel easier.

If you hear a celiac say these things, it’s probably code word for something else.

It’s thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and I’m wishing all my fellow celiacs a happy thanksgiving weekend filled with delicious foods!

Yes, there are celiac safe products that contain wheat 😲

And, in today’s chat, I’m talking through one label reading exception using the example of cyclone popsicles which contain wheat but are completely celiac safe.

👉if you want to learn more about label reading exceptions, comment WEBINAR and I’ll send you the link to watch my free webinar: Unlock REAL real food freedom on the GF diet.
