Amen! 🙌🏼

Two thousand years ago, a woman suffering for years pressed through a crowd and touched the hem of Jesus of Nazareth’s garment.

She was healed instantly.

He didn’t say I healed you.

He said: “Your faith made you whole.”

For centuries, that was brushed off as Spiritual. Poetic. A nice idea.

Until science caught up.

Brain imaging now shows that when people believe they’re safe or relieved of pain—even when given a placebo—the brain literally turns down pain signals.

Nothing changes outside the body.
The body changes anyway.

Belief isn’t “just in your head.”

It rewires the nervous system.

Shifts hormones.

Changes how cells respond.

And here’s where it gets real.

Any woman who’s given birth knows this:

labour pain is intense ~ yet often tolerable.

That same level of pain from a burst appendix or a gunshot wound?

Completely unbearable.

Same body.
Same nerves.
Different meaning.

Fear makes pain explosive.

Purpose and context change everything.

The body doesn’t respond to events.
It responds to interpretation.

This isn’t positive thinking.
This isn’t pretending pain away.

This is biology.

And maybe that woman in the crowd knew what we’re only just remembering:

Healing isn’t imposed from the outside.
It’s unlocked from within.

Several years ago I accidentally removed myself as admin of my own page🤦‍♀️. Somehow I've figured out access through Business Suite, so here I am! Innumerable changes in those few long/short years!
I'm slowly launching my new business and hope to have everything ready by month's end! Pardon the disjointed nature of the release, my new business platform has a large learning curve and the tech gremlins multiply with age! 😆
I can't wait to introduce everyone to the work I have been doing!
