JG Custom Canvas As a local artist, I paint a variety of styles with acrylic on canvas. As well as an established collection of paintings, I also do custom pieces too.

For over 10 years, I have struggled with an eating disorder. One year ago I decided to seek help and get treatment. Painting is something I took up while in the hospital, at first to kill time but it turned into an outlet for me. Through my paintings I am able to express the whirlwind of emotions that I experience every day in recovery. My paintings do not follow one particular theme, and that is because I paint through what I feel. In order to express all kinds of feelings one painting will never be the same as another. After I was discharged from the hospital, I moved into my own tiny bachelor apartment. As I continued to paint, I ran out of wall space to put all of my artwork up. And so here we are on display for all you fine folk to enjoy! :)
