Robbie Burns Day was a huge success! 🎉
From the piper’s stirring entrance and live guitar to the traditional Address to the Haggis, a wee dram of Scotch, and a hearty Scottish beef stew, the evening was filled with rich flavours, music, and wonderful company. 🥃🎶🏴

Men’s pub lunch outing was amazing—lots of stories, laughter, and fun all around! 🍻 Colin, our Maintenance Manager, joined the men and added to the great company and good times.

Our Active Living Manager, Noha and Lifestyle Consultant, Patricia, took 15 of our residents to see Elvis Presley at the Kelowna Community Theatre. So much fun was had by all—singing along, smiling, and making wonderful memories! 💃🕺🎤

New Year’s fun at Summerwood! 🥂
The evening kicked off with NY steak and shrimp with peppercorn sauce, creamy mashed potatoes, braised red cabbage, parmesan tomato, and garlic asparagus—followed by champagne, music, and dancing. A perfect start to the year ahead! ✨

What a wonderful holiday season at Summerwood🎄✨

From our elevated annual Elf Brunch filled with brunch favourites from our amazing Culinary team and sweet treats by our culinary wonder Kathy—with all proceeds supporting the Okanagan Hospice Association—to stunning holiday décor by our amazing Activities Director, Noha

We wrapped up the season with a delicious Christmas Eve roast beef dinner and a traditional Christmas feast of turkey, ham, and all the classic fixings, prepared by our incredible Chef, Dan and culinary team.

Wine service was also provided by our exceptional Dining Room Supervisor, Mark and team, adding the perfect finishing touch to our holiday celebration. A season filled of joy, generosity, and great food! ❤️🎅🍽️
