A supportive, creative space for girls to explore emotions, build confidence, and connect through art. 🎨
📅 Mondays, April 27 – June 8 (no session May 18)
⏰ 5:00 – 6:30 PM
👥 Limited to 8 participants (closed group)

This small group size allows for meaningful connection, trust-building, and personalized support each week.
Participants will learn coping strategies, build emotional awareness, and develop confidence through guided art-making and reflection in a safe, supportive environment.
Cost is free.
Registration is required in advance and includes brief parent/guardian consultation.

I will be offering a free workshop and joining in the En Plein Air Painting at this fun event coming up! Bring your mom or bring your friend and come say hi! Spots are limited for the workshops so I recommend signing up in advance!

Art Therapy - Birds in Flight
Mondays 1:00-2:30
4 Weeks Starting April 27th to May 25th

This series guided by Patricia Cameron – Certified Art Therapist, will focus on art for enjoyment, creativity, and connection, centered around the theme of birds as symbols of hope, renewal, and resilience. Participants will paint a wooden birdhouse (supplied by SCS) using personal symbols of hope and strength, to take home at the end of the series.
Additional art activities will follow the bird theme and include guided exploration of acrylic painting, watercolor, collage, and mixed media.

My friend and colleague Erin Gustafson will be hosting an introductory beading workshop at Painted Key Art Therapy studio on Saturday April 18th 11-2. Erin will guide you through the beadwork and finishing steps to make a pair of earrings while discussing the cultural context of beadwork for Ojibwe people and its modern trajectories.

Join us Saturday April 11th for a casual drop in Altered Book Club. Back by popular request. Learn techniques for adding to or starting your Altered Book creative journalling process. Techniques and expertise offered for: black out poetry, creating stamps, repurposing recycled art, mixed media collage and more.

This is a casual drop in open studio style event with two art therapy facilitators on hand to offer guidance with art making and insight oriented art making prompts.
