KDH is joining the Toes-T-Tootsies sock drive in support of the House of Lazarus (HOL) Food Bank! Organizer Craig McCormick (pictured) is collecting new socks, gloves, mitts and toques for HOL’s holiday hampers. The campaign runs until Friday, December 20 and donations can be dropped off at the bin located in KDH’s main entrance area, across from the greeting desk. Thank you!

It’s Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week (November 9 – 15) and KDH would like to recognize the important role of NPs in healthcare. From providing compassionate care and improving outcomes, NPs make a real difference every day. They can diagnose patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
KDH’s own Katie Hogue, VP of Nursing/Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, is proud to be an NP and hopes to inspire more people join the profession!

Yesterday was 'Take Your Kids to Work Day' and KDH welcomed a great group of students to the hospital! They got a chance to visit a variety of departments, including the Emergency Room, Pharmacy, Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, Operating Rooms and more! They enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the hospital, and interacting with our wonderful staff, volunteers and physicians.
