Blood Moon - Lunar Eclipse ❤️🌕❤️
Six years ago, my life had come crashing down. In just a few months, I lost everything that seemed important to me—my home, my partner, friendships, family, my community, and even a sense of who I was. The betrayal from those I loved most left me feeling utterly alone, and it was a painful journey through loss and confusion.
For two long years, and during a pandemic, I tried to rebuild my life on the same shaky ground that had just crumbled beneath me. Angry and heartbroken, realizing how I was trying to do things wasn’t going to work, I made the tough decision to go into a year of isolation—a shadow period, if you will. I cut contact with many people and embarked on a journey of self-discovery.
During that year, I learned the art of unbecoming, discovering all the things that were rooted in 40 years of conditioning, external expectation and validation. I had to reconnect with my heart, body, and soul—parts of myself that had been conditioned out of me since childhood. It was challenging, but liberating. It felt a lot like the moon during a lunar eclipse, slowly slipping into darkness. I had to embrace my own shadow to emerge anew.
Through it all, one constant remained: the moon. Each night, I would look up and find comfort in its presence. The moon became my steadfast companion, illuminating my darkest moments and reminding me that even in shadow, there is beauty and healing.
Slowly but surely, my inner light began to return. This time, she was different—stronger, brighter, and more resilient. It mirrored the experience of a lunar eclipse: after the darkness, the moon re-emerges, bold and unshakeable. I found strength in this cycle, understanding that darkness is not an end but a necessary part of the journey toward renewal.
In a world where trust felt scarce, the moon was always there for me. It reminded me that I wasn’t truly alone, offering solace and connection as I navigated the complexities of my emotions.
So, as I share this, I want to remind you that much like the lunar eclipse, our journeys can be transformative. They can take us through darkness to emerge stronger and more radiant. Life’s challenges will come and go, but with each eclipse, we can remember that light will always return. My light returned (most of you have witnessed that!), and sitting here watching the eclipse brings up such a sense of pride within my heart!
Embrace your journey, trust your inner voice, and honor the resilience within you. Just like the moon, you have the power to shine—bold and unshakeable—no matter what.
I hope you can find your own light in times of darkness, just as I did. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey.
PS. There are four eclipses in 2025, you can expect big transformation this year!
