Thanks for the memories, Shamrock Physio! I saw my first patient ever here seven years ago. Here I was thinking I needed to be studying physio material for my first day, but it turned out this city girl should have been studying her farming terminology! Patients had neck pain from baling, knee injuries from hopping out of the combine, back pain that started while swathing… and I didn’t have a clue what any of that meant!
Aside from expanding my agricultural vocabulary, this town has taught me about kindness, humility, work ethic, and true community spirit. Clients would often encourage me to “just stay home if the roads are bad” and offer to reschedule. Or remind me they had a spare room if ever I got stranded after work. I’ve been thanked continuously for providing physio services and treated like family. I will miss this clinic so much, but the people far more ♥️ Thank you for everything!

We would like to express a huge thank you to Kylie for the time and energy she has shared with us all.
Kylie has accepted a position at Dynamic Physiotherapy in Brandon and will not be returning to Shamrock Physiotherapy.
Our physio clinic and community have benefited greatly from you Kylie and we wish you all the best 💕

🛑As the province shifts to code red on Thursday, both our physiotherapy and massage therapy services are able to remain operational.
We are making every effort to screen, sanitize, and maintain a safe environment for all.
If you have any cold or flu symptoms OR have been around anyone with cold/flu symptoms OR have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID, please contact us to make arrangements to reschedule.

✳️Physiotherapy services will be offered until November 20th only as Kylie transitions to maternity leave at that point. Haley will continue to offer massage therapy.

✳️We are hoping for a short closure for all those affected by today’s announcement and encourage everyone to support local as much as possible through these difficult times.

✳️ Sending a big (socially distanced) hug and heartfelt thank you to our teachers and healthcare workers.

We are so grateful for the very busy summer we've been having here at the clinic!

Just an update for everyone, the clinic IS OPEN Monday through Friday. Mask wearing is appreciated. Visits are still more spaced out than typical to minimize traffic in common areas of the clinic.

Sending a heartfelt thank you to our reception staff for working so hard to keep everything clean and sanitized between clients to ensure everyone's safety!

As gardening season gets started, don’t let this be you! Remember to ease into things slowly, pace yourself, ask for help when needed, and call your physiotherapist to help manage aches and pains.

Queen’s Brian May revealed on Instagram that he was hospitalized following “over-enthusiastic gardening.” Get the details on his injury.

🛑 All clients must use hand sanitizer upon entering the clinic. Any gloves must be removed.
🛑 Anyone escorting a client to their appointment must wait in their vehicle or outside as our waiting room is closed.
🛑 All staff will be wearing masks and adhering to frequent hand washing protocols, clients may wear a mask if they choose.

As per the province's gradual plan for re-opening, we will slowly begin resuming in-person physiotherapy visits Tuesday, May 5th, 2020.

There are many new protocols and guidelines to respect, and we ask for your patience as we navigate these changes.

Telerehabilitation/virtual physiotherapy is still available and remains an excellent option for anyone that chooses no contact care at this time.

We will be contacting anyone that had a visit canceled at our time of closure in the coming days. If you are looking to get in for a new assessment, please call the clinic at 204-523-8761.

You might not see the smile behind our masks, but we are so happy to be offering in-clinic care again!
