Shiatsu is a form of massage originating from Japan. The precise application of deep pressure points stimulate highly neurological connective tissues to incorporate changes in the body and help restore the psychophysical balance.
The use of pressure influences the connective tissues, like the fascia, which helps them regain hydration, flexibility, and communication with the rest of the body. It reduces pain and inflammation and increases circulation with a deeper sense of relaxation.
