Eat the Pith off of it!
The pith is the white part under the skin and over the juicy flesh of all citrus fruits 🍋🍊 The pith contains an assortment of Flavonoids including, quercetin, hesperidin and rutin. By blocking the synthesis of pro-inflammatory messenger molecules, these flavor makers are proven inflammatory fighters!
The pith is also high in fiber and contains as much vitamin C as the rest of the fruit combined 👌 so if you are feeling a little inflamed grab an citrus fruit and eat the pith off it, you might be pleasantly surprised!
