November is Falls Prevention Month! Stay tuned to our page for more information about preventing falls. Staying active is one step to preventing a fall as strong muscles help us with our balance. Regular exercise is also great for our bone health so that if we do have a fall, we're less likely to fracture. Other regular health checks including vision, medication reviews, regular appointments with your doctor all contribute to diminished fall risk.
Stay active in your own health journey and help mitigate your risk this month and every day!

Members of our team were off to Toronto last week to attend the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario (AFHTO) conference. They had an excellent time collaborating with other health teams from all over Ontario and learning new ways to help connect patients to primary care. We're so fortunate to be able to continue learning from top leaders in the field on so many incredible and relevant topics! We look forward to putting some of the things we learned into action.
