The 2nd Sankewitahasuwakon (Peaceful Thoughts) registration will be opening soon!

The Sankewitahasuwakon (Peaceful Thoughts) gathering gently welcomes Wolastoqey people who attended Indian Day Schools, along with their families, to come together for a weekend centered on reflection, connection, and healing.

This year, we have a new addition to our program offering: a fast and naming ceremony with Opolahsomuwehs. Participants will be able to choose to be a part of the fast over the weekend, ending with the naming ceremony where you will receive a traditional name.
