Did you know: Since 1865 (2 years prior to Canadian Confederation), nestled within the picturesque grounds of Cataraqui Cemetery is the "Field of Honour". A dedicated military section that is the final resting place for over 800 individuals who served our country and the Commonwealth. The unique military style headstones surround the Cross of Sacrifice. A nearly 20 foot tall memorial that is one of only 26 such memorials erected in North America. Lest we forget.
