We are all called upon to engage in 16 Days of Activism to raise awareness and end gender based violence at home and abroad. The Moose Hide campaign offers concrete and important actions all of us can take, particularly as relate to violence against Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people. Please consider reading the resources they provide, and supporting their campaign in what ever way you can.

Every year, from November 25 to December 10, people around the world come together for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

On Remembrance Day, we take pause and reflect on the enduring spirit of our Canadian Armed Forces and their unwavering commitment to the impossible. From those who stood tall at Lundy’s Lane, Vimy Ridge, Juno Beach, Dieppe, and Passchendaele. To the many missions in Bosnia and Rwanda through to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Ukraine, and now in the Middle East.

Let us also remember that freedom is not free and has come a considerable price for our ill and injured Veterans and their families with whom the battle lives on. At Wounded Warriors Canada, we remain steadfast in our mission to Honour the Fallen and Help the Living and do so thanks to the thousands of supporters from every region of our country who make our mental health programs possible. It is through this important work that we can ensure their light never fades and their service and sacrifice is honoured and remembered.

Lest we forget.

If Anything Were Possible, What Would you Wish For?

If you could live differently, and anything were possible, what would you change? What would the new you be like? Too often our day-to-day lives often conflict with our values and long-term goals, leaving us feeling discouraged, overwhelmed and unhealthy.

By leveraging my expertise in exercise science and behavior change coaching, I empower clients to tackle the deeply-rooted barriers to transformative change that keep them stuck. My clients know that fixing problematic habits in isolation (for example, by restrictive dieting, or signing up for an exercise program) does not work. Through our work together, clients discover new abilities, strengths, and perspectives that propel them towards sustainable, self-directed success. Whether in a 1-on-1 or group setting, I excel at building an environment of trust, collaboration, and creativity. I skillfully facilitate the development of increased self-awareness, clarity, and self-motivated action. My clients enjoy meaningful, measurable improvements in the areas of well-being that are important to them.

If this sounds like a fit and you are curious about how coaching could work for you, why not try out a free 30-minute coaching session? By reaching out, you take a powerful first step towards being healthier and happier. I invite you to take this opportunity to initiate the process of change with no obligations, and enjoy the unique and powerful experience of being coached. You can book a free coaching session by visiting our website at www.wellnesscoaching.ca, emailing us at info@wellnesscoaching.ca, through our page, or by calling us (902) 804-9984.
