Happy 5th Anniversary to our warehouse crew member Austin, whose flowing locks you may remember from epic Draw All Month failures such as Rinse Cup Clean-Up, Ink Cap House of Cards, and of course, PlinkoMaster.

When he’s not getting his hair caught in the shipping station rollers, Austin is working his unpaid side-gig as Eikon’s personal cinephile and in-house movie critic (Who no one actually agrees with…)

All joking aside, thank you Austin for helping us get artists’ orders out the door fast!

Eikon BAGS & SLEEVES are BACK with an all new look (Studio Grey), and they’re now plastic-free.

We’ve put these BAGS and SLEEVES through some pretty rigorous testing, both in house and at a convention earlier this year, and can say that they hold up as well or better than our OG Bags and Sleeves. They’re a little less rigid, and quieter for those of you running a coil machine. Eco often gets a bad rap for being more expensive and less durable, but that’s not the case here. You get the good feeling of going plastic-free, without the extra costs associated with doing so.

Making the long journey from the hot beaches of Brazil, to the cold shores of Steel City, aka Hamilton Ontario, found a home at Cold North Ink where he continues to pursue his childhood dream of drawing on people - literally. This dude is a freehand wizard, it's like he’s never heard of a stencil printer before! With over 10 years under his belt, Luiz has become a master of Realism and Biomech work, most of which he still lays freehand onto his clients before he even picks up his machine. You really can't beat freehand work when it comes to how well pieces flow with your client’s body.

When not in the shop, Luiz is a professional drummer - though you might not tell from looking at him (you can totally tell), who also makes time to feed his video game addiction (there are worse things to be addicted to...).

It may only be February, but we could really use a long weekend already. A snow day if you will… Thankfully “Family Day” is here!

The Eikon family is grabbing their snow pants, toques, and a thermos full of warmth, and taking a much needed Snow Day (whether it snows or not). We’ll be back taking care of our tattooing family on Tuesday, February 17th.

You know the drill: If you need something, we’ve got you covered. Our Web Store never takes holidays, and orders placed over the weekend, and today, will begin shipping tomorrow.
