The students kicked off the kindness early this year, selling ๐œ๐š๐ง๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ to their community! With the funds raised, they carefully curated heartwarming, fun-filled Valentineโ€™s Day baskets to brighten the day of patients spending the holiday in hospital.

In addition, the group generously donated $๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ• to the department through UHKF.

Because sometimes, a little basket of treats can deliver a whole lot of love. โค๏ธ

Bobby lives in with his mom Hannah, and dad Nick, but was brought to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ( ) at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) just hours after birth after facing breathing problems and a seizure.

His parents werenโ€™t able to hold him until he was four days old, as he underwent a 72-hour cooling protocol, brain scans, blood work and various other exams during his first few days. Thankfully, he remained seizure-free.

During this time, the Salt family were blown away by the compassion and support provided by the incredible team. โ€œDuring the nights when we couldnโ€™t be with Bobby, the nurses sent us pictures and videos to keep us updated on his condition. They never made us feel bad for calling in the middle of the night for reassurance.โ€

To celebrate Bobbyโ€™s big birthday and the excellent care received, the Salt family are hosting their ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐Š๐‡๐’๐‚โ€™๐ฌ ๐๐ˆ๐‚๐”!

Congratulations to the ๐Š๐ข๐๐ ๐Ÿ• team at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) who in the last little while had ๐…๐Ž๐”๐‘ ๐ ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ through University Hospitals Kingston Foundation's program.

When ๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ฒ, who passed away in 2009 during her 90th year, made an endowment fund through the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF), she could not have imagined how her legacy would one day brighten lives and restore hope at Providence Care.

Thanks to Stellaโ€™s foresight, her ๐ž๐ง๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ก๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ that do more than fill timeโ€”they transform lives.

The Associate of Leadership Giving provides support to the Director of Leadership Giving and Campaigns, and the Leadership Giving Team, preparing correspondence, reports and other required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. The Associate also provides reception to the Foundation as a whole and as first point of contact, requires a high degree of professionalism, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong work ethic.
