A grey day and a silent day in the forest today. One sweet surprise today were two blonde squirrels. Statistically the odds of seeing a blonde squirrel are apparently 1 in 10,000! And I saw two!!

I have only seen one before over the eleven years I’ve walked on these trails. That was a surprise! I also was blessed to see five (turtle🐢 )doves sitting a tree above me! The loudness of the stillness in the trees was my other notable surprise. I knew I’d be surprised. I just wasn’t sure how, until I finished my nature walk! The forest says hello🙌🌎🥰✨

Some days are harder than others to get motivated to get into the forest. And…, every time I get there I am humbled with gratitude. As soon as I am trodding forward on a quiet path, I feel happy! I imagine my angels and spirit team getting the opportunity to experience the beauty and awe of the physical world through my five senses. That makes me happy too! Sharing the sparkles in the snow, the rainbow beams of the sunshine through the trees, the paths of many footprints, some so tiny. I imagine the myriad of adventures of chipmunks and squirrels and rabbits and various birds, and dogs and people and sometimes coyotes and deer. By the time I return home, I feel I have given myself the most important gift of my day, and sometimes week❣️ I am so happy to share my forest walks with you too🥰🙏😇😍🌎🙌🫶☀️🎶✨
