Our baby is ONE!

From two NP just wanting to make a difference in our “ spare time “ we have grown to a team of 14, with 3 sites, over 3500 patient appointments, several community collabs, 20 years lost off our lives in stress, and one kick ass buisness we are so proud of.

Change Three!

Saved the best and biggest for last!!

When Karin and Jenn opened Aridia our goal was to offload the strain on the urgent care system while providing family medicine and urgent care to the community- specifically those with no family MD.

Almost 40k residents in the area have no family doctor.

Now, we are very excited to announce a new partnership with Maple Family Health team called “Spruce Health Hub”.

Once it is open, two of our NP will be providing consistent and regular primary care services during the day taking Kingston families off health care connect and rostering them until they can be moved to a family doctor. This will be an ongoing initiative, with plans to hopefully expand as time moves forward.

What does this mean for you?

1. All our urgent care, walk in and pre booked appointments continue to operate as we always have.

2.Fee structure for those waiting on health care connect remains the same (we pray the government changes this soon!)

3.Our front street office will start to look different as Spruce gets up and running. There will be new reception and lots of new support staff

4.If you are not already on health care connect, get on ASAP. Clients chosen for Spruce Health Hub will be taken right off that list.

5.Do not call Spruce to ask to be a patient. All families will be called directly as the team gets organized

We are so excited to get started with this collab and start to make an even bigger impact for the community!

📣 The WICMC is pleased to announce a new service provided
by Aridia Medical Clinic.
Beginning early February 2026, a nurse practitioner lead clinic will operate Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Confirmation of the start date will be coming soon
This is a pilot project for 2026.
Clinic fees will be paid by WICMC, with the support of the
Township of Frontenac Islands.
More information will be shared shortly, including the start date and scheduling details.

Change number 2!!

We are very excited to announce our new partnership with Wolfe island medical clinic!

The island clinic has a special place in Karin’s heart after starting her NP career there and working for many years on the island.

The islanders have now been without a medical clinic for several years and we are so happy to announce we will be taking on this clinic as our third clinic to open across the area.

This clinic will be for Wolfe island residents ONLY. More details and clinic times to come on the Wolfe island clinic website.

The new year is bringing lots of great changes to Aridia, but change number one is finally here!

Jenn and I are so happy to announce we now have an administrator! Until now we have been manning all emails, messages and scheduling. This will allow us to focus more on YOU and less and paperwork.

Please welcome Lindsey Welsh to our team!

When you email us now, you will primarily be getting a reply from Lindsey. If you need to speak to Jenn or Karin directly she can reach us, or please book an appointment .

As a reminder- if you need medication renewals you can ask your pharmacy to fax us HOWEVER often we will want to see you again so those renewals may be denied.
