Restorative Belly Body Butter / 120mL / $20

I've been waiting to post this one because I wanted to be my own guinea pig, but at 39 weeks pregnant, I can honestly say this has worked AMAZINGLY for me throughout my pregnancy! I slather this stuff on my belly twice a day and so far...NO stretch marks! And I haven't dealt with the "itchy belly" that I've read can be a pregnancy discomfort (the cocoa and shea butter make this a miracle moisturizer!).

This cream can also be great post-partum to minimize stretch marks, thanks to the rose hip seed oil and vitamin e oil (which both diminish scars).

Ingredients:
Pure, raw, unrefined & organic shea butter; cocoa butter; apricot oil; sweet almond oil; jojoba oil; organic rose hip seed oil; vitamin e oil; lavender essential oil

GREAT DEAL on the Hint of Mint lip balm: 15mL jars of the good stuff for the same cost as the 5mL ($7).

I also recently readapted the formula, and the result is a smoother, silkier gloss (with the same great moisturizing properties and minty flavour).

I love this lip balm for not only it's moisturizing qualities, but also for (as the not-so-subtle name implies), the hint of mint in it!

To celebrate babe E being 30 weeks old (gestation) today, I'm offering a promotion on the vanilla lavender body scrub: $10 for a 310 mL jar - that's a $5 savings! I've also recently adapted the recipe and made a batch with organic, raw cane sugar instead of epsom salts, and my sensitive skin LOVES the change!

Ladies, have you ever tried shaving with a body scrub? I started doing so over a year ago after a girlfriend suggested it, and my skin has never been so smooth after shaving! Since the scrub exfoliates at the same time, it's as though the hair follicles are extracted at a deeper level (resulting in smoother skin & less frequent shaving). Anyway, if you haven't tried it already, give it a shot the next time you shave and your legs will thank me! ;)

Thanks to everyone who supported my little venture in 2015; I have donated all of the proceeds made thus far to Kids Alive Canada, which was $410!! :) Moving forward, since Chris and I are unsure of our future missionary plans due to our little munchkin on the way, all of the proceeds in the next year will go towards babe E! Anti-Wrinkle Cream / 120mL / $30

I recently turned 30, and although I don't feel old (& luckily don't have any grey hairs yet!), some pesky little lines have decided to take up residence on my face. Thus, I suppose it's time to start taking a serious look at an anti-wrinkle routine.

Most drugstore/commercial anti-wrinkle creams contain toxic and potentially harmful ingredients such as octinoxate (a chemical linked with breast cancer), propylene glycol (linked with liver and kidney damage), and PEG-6/32/75 stearate (linked to cancer, developmental and reproductive toxicity, contamination, and organ toxicity).

Ummm no thanks. So of course I had to do some research and experiment to find a homemade cream that could work its magic without the damage. I discovered that rosehip seed oil is an aging girl's best friend! This cream contains large amounts of organic rosehip seed oil along with rose water and other nourishing ingredients like vitamin e oil and jojoba oil.

Ingredients:
Organic rosehip seed oil, rose water, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin e oil.

Beautiful Beginnings Baby Basket / $60 (a $95 value!!)

Did you know that most baby products contain many toxic ingredients (such as PEG-80, tetra sodium EDTA, and even cancer-causing ingredients such as sulfates & talc?!). I don't have any babies yet, but I certainly wouldn't want to expose any child to harmful substances if it could be avoided. I made this basket for a girlfriend who just had the sweetest baby girl; I can't wait to visit again soon to give her the basket & of course enjoy some snuggles with beautiful baby Reese! I make all of the products myself and use organic, pure ingredients whenever possible. Although it doesn't list so in the ingredients, all of the essential oils I use are 100% pure (most are organic as well).

All products are made-to-order since I only use natural preservatives (vitamin E oil & citrus oil), thus the shelf life is much less than drugstore/mainstream beauty products.

Vanilla Lavender Body Scrub / 310mL / $15

Quite possibly my two favourite scent combinations are lavender and vanilla, so why not combine them in a luxurious body scrub?!? This scrub contains real vanilla seeds, which helps with the fresh vanilla aroma. I use this all the time and love that the oils stay on my skin, even after I rinse off the scrub.

Aloe & Calendula Cream / 120mL / $20

This is another one of my favs; it's an effective light-to medium-weight moisturizer for the face and body. The calendula and aloe provide powerful anti-inflammatory properties and it's soothing for sensitive, dry, damaged, mature and normal skin. I find this one also great relief when my eczema flares up.

Cocoa Creamsicle Face & Body Lotion / 120mL / $20

Inhaling this delicious lotion takes me right back to childhood when we would chase the Dicky-Dee (remember those?!?) down the street for a cool summer treat. I loved creamsicles and totally think they should make a chocolate-orange one! And that is exactly how this moisturizing cream smells.

Lavender & Calendula Face Wash / 100mL / $15

I am obsessed with both lavender and calendula for their calming/soothing, & anti-inflammatory properties, so combining the two is pure bliss! :) I use this face wash every night & as I've learned, a little goes a long way.

Whipped Shea Butter / 120mL / $20

This is actually my favourite product ever! I discovered pure, unrefined, raw, organic shea butter in the winter when my eczema was really bad and I needed intense moisture. This is amazing and since it's raw and unrefined, it has anti-fungal properties. Even in the summer, I still use it every night.

Ingredients:
Pure, Unrefined, Raw, Organic Shea Butter; Vitamin E Oil; Lavender Essential Oil; Cedarwood Essential Oil; Geranium Essential Oil.
