Are you considering enrolling in HLTH 315 Theory and Practice of Health Behaviour Change for this Fall term? If so, please see the note below from the course instructor Dr. Amy Latimer-Cheung.

Dear HLTH 315 enthusiasts,

We are hard at work developing your HLTH 315 - Theory and Practice of Health Behaviour Change course for the fall. We need your input.

The course will include a series of case studies. The purpose of these case studies is for you to learn about best practices for changing these behaviours in diverse populations. The goal is for you to learn how to change the health behaviour of persons who need to make change. The focus is not on your own personal health behaviours, it is on the behaviour of others. You will work on these case studies for 2-3 weeks. We want to make sure they are of interest to you. Please complete the survey at the link below to let us know what health behaviours and population segments are of particular interest. Please respond by Friday July 31st.

Qualtrics sophisticated online survey software solutions make creating online surveys easy. Learn more about Research Suite and get a free account today.

Moving towards fostering an interconnected environment within the health studies program is one of our main goals this year. We have teamed up with AMP to encourage you all to get involved in their peer mentorship program. It is an opportunity that requires a small time commitment but makes a huge positive impact - read below to find out more on how you can get involved!

Hey ArtSci!

What would you tell yourself in first year? AMP is looking for individuals enthusiastic about student life to mentor incoming students. We are looking for students from a variety of backgrounds to share their experiences with our incoming class. Applications open Friday, July 17th 2020 at queensasus.com/apply. Feel free to send an email to amp@asus.queensu.ca, DM us on Instagram or message us on FB if you have any questions!
