Dr. Flynn was in Toronto this weekend attending the Advanced Dry Eye Therapies Workshop at the Dry Eye Summit 2025. Learning lots of new techniques that we will hopefully be able to implement into our practice in 2026 to better serve our many dry eye patients.

When we are under stress, our body releases hormones that can affect more than just our mood - they can impact our vision 👀

💡Tips for protecting your eyes during stress
• Follow the 20-20-20 rule (look 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes)
• Keep hydrated & use preservative free artificial tears if needed
• Get enough sleep & outdoor time
• Try mindfulness, deep breathing, or short breaks during intense work
•Book an eye exam if you notice persistent vision changes - don’t assume it’s “just stress”
