Waggott Chiropractic is excited to announce a new member to your health care team. Everyone meet Daniela Cipkar!

Daniela a registered massage therapist graduated from the Canadian College of Health Science and Technology in 2018 at the top of her class earning the President's Award. Prior to that she graduated from the University of Windsor in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science.

She specializes in therapeutic massage with a person centered approach to massage therapy. She believes that every person is unique and therefore treatments should be tailored to an individual's specific set of circumstances and goals.

In her spare time she likes to keep active and can be found running, working out or doing yoga.

Medical appointments are essential and we will continue to comply with strict PPE and safety precautions to protect everyone.

Kim has limited appointments available. She will book up fast so don't miss out on booking a massage.

Today, the Ontario government issued a province-wide, stay-at-home order, effective Thurs., Jan. 14, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. The order requires everyone to remain at home, except for essential purposes, such as accessing health care services or grocery shopping.

There are no changes to rules around regulated health care professionals, such as chiropractors, registered massage therapists and physiotherapists.

According to Ontario’s Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (effective Jan. 11, 2021), businesses that can continue to remain open include: health care services provided by regulated health professionals (point #53); organizations that provide health care, including clinics and independent health facilities (point #55) and manufacturers, wholesalers and businesses that provide logistical support of or for products and/or services that support the delivery of health care in all locations (point #58).

Patients and members of the public will be able to continue to visit their chiropractor during their regular hours of operation. And chiropractors will continue to comply with strict PPE and safety precautions to protect their patients and team members.

I just got off the phone with a wonderful Kingsville police officer that said he got a complaint that someone saw cars in our parking lot.

My fitness studio Howe Fit is not just a fitness studio as perhaps assumed, we are a fully licensed operating “Healthcare facility” with several essential services such as:

✔️ A full retail health store with vitamins, supplements, diabetic health FOOD, low carb, allergen free and high protein options which is open to the public daily for in store or curb side purchases. Our lobby is over 2000 square feet so we have plenty of room for social distancing to be achieved.

We head into Lock down (grey) on Monday.

What does that mean for treatment?

Treatment will continue with the following protocols.
Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractic treatment will resume and follow the following protocols. Some new protocols are added due to the entering the grey zone.

The protocols are as follows:
• Covid-10 Questionnaires are to be completed before entering the office
• Masks are to be worn upon entering the office
• All patients are required to use sanitizer upon arrival
• Patient visits will remain at 20 minutes to insure minimal interaction
• Maintain 6 feet distancing within the office should patients interact within the office
• Bathrooms are sanitized after each use
• I will be wearing googles/face shield and mask, and the use of sanitizer will be used each visit.
• I will be wearing a new gown for each patient
• All surfaces and chiropractic tools touched by patients are sanitized after each patient

Massage:

Kim will remain open and continue to make every effort to ensure your safety following the protocols set out by the CMTO.
Please help up keep each other safe by rescheduling your appointment if you feel unwell.

Please be advised of the road closure slated to begin this Monday, August 17th, 2020.

Ty Truax at the The Chop Shop Fresh Market has graciously allowed the use of their parking lot to access Waggott Chiropractic and Howefit Kingsville.

Amy Howe and Howefit Kingsville is wonderful, working away and willing to clear the throughway, open the fence dividing Howefit and Chop Shop to create a safe new entrance and exit that will be unaffected by this construction through Heritage.

Please support Chop the shop Ty Truax and Howefit Kingsville because they are going above and beyond for everything to run smoothly during this inconvenience.

Please follow listed detour routes to heritage in order to make your way to us as quickly as possible.

Reconstruction of Main Street West (from 289 Main Street West to Queen Street) begins the week of August 17, 2020 (weather permitting). No through traffic will be permitted.
