U13B Robazza Chiropractic Blue Devils Back in Action After the Holiday Break

The U13B Robazza Chiropractic Blue Devils were back on the ice this weekend after the holiday break, travelling to Sudbury for a two-game series against the U12 Nickel City Cubs.

Game 1
The Devils came out strong in the opener, setting the pace early with consistent offensive pressure. Maki Nychuk opened the scoring, followed by Tucker Webster, who found the net with help from C**t Dubreuil. Grant Szulga added another on a breakaway after a strong rush up the ice, set up by a pass from Kael Lachapelle. C**t Dubreuil capped off the first period with a wraparound goal.

The Cubs pushed back with the lone goal of the second period, but the Devils answered right away. Kael Lachapelle scored on a breakaway, and Quinn Perrier added another to make it a 5–1 win for the Devils.

Game 2
Game 2 was a close contest with both teams trading chances. Tucker Webster opened the scoring with a smooth backhand, but the Cubs responded to tie it up. Grant Szulga answered for the Devils with a quick shot off the faceoff to regain the lead before the Cubs tied the game again late in the first period.

The Cubs took the lead early in the second period, but C**t Dubreuil responded to tie the game once more. Early in the third, Webster put the Devils back on top. The Devils kept the pressure on, and Szulga pushed through traffic to extend the lead. Webster picked up his third of the game as the Devils pulled away. Kael Lachapelle finished the scoring with a breakaway goal off a pass from McKenna Olver, making the final score 7–3.

Hailey Carré was solid between the pipes both games, playing a key role in the Devil’s wins.

The Blue Devils’ next games will be at the John Jennings / Don Collison Tournament, hosted by South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association, January 23–25 in South Muskoka.

U13B Robazza Chiropractic Blue Devils Road Trip Recap.

Before the holiday break, the U13B Robazza Chiropractic Blue Devils hit the road for a busy doubleheader weekend, travelling to North Bay and Sudbury to face tough competition in back-to-back matchups.

Day 1 – North Bay vs. Trappers
The Devils opened the weekend with a strong showing against the North Bay Trappers. In Game 1, Maggie Merrill—normally anchoring the blue line, stepped up as forward and opened the scoring from a rebound from Tucker Webster. The Devils carried the momentum into the second period with goals from Grant Szulga, Kael Lachapelle, and C**t Dubreuil to build a 4–0 lead.

North Bay mounted a late push in the third, capitalizing on opportunities and eventually tying the game 4–4 with the goalie pulled in the final seconds.

Game 2 saw the Devils strike first again, with Kael Lachapelle scoring on a breakaway. Despite continued pressure and a wraparound goal by Alex Cybolsky on the power play, the Devils came up just short in a hard-fought 3–2 loss.

Day 2 – Sudbury vs. Wolves
The Devils carried their energy into Sudbury against the U12 Sudbury Wolves. In the first game, the Wolves jumped out to a 2–0 lead, but the Devils responded in the second period. Maggie Merrill continued her strong play up front, scoring off a hard point shot from defenceman Jeremy Roy. Kael Lachapelle followed with a goal assisted by Grant Szulga, and C**t Dubreuil added another to give the Devils the lead. Sudbury would answer in the third, ending the game in a 3–3 tie.

In the second matchup, Jed Brissette opened the scoring with a well-placed shot from the blue line. After the Wolves responded with a shorthanded goal, Alex Cybolsky quickly put the Devils back on top. Maggie Merrill added another on the power play, continuing an impressive weekend. The Wolves tied things up once again in the third, resulting in another 3–3 draw.

Hailey Carré stood tall in net for the entire weekend!!

The Devils battled hard, showing a lot of determination and teamwork. It was a strong road trip effort heading into the holiday break.

✨ As we head into 2026, I wanted to share a quick update with you all. ✨

After some thoughtful consideration, I’ve decided to adjust maintenance follow-up appointments to 20 minutes. This change will allow me to see more people throughout the day and help reduce longer wait times during our busier seasons.

That said, 30-minute and 45-minute appointments will still be available for those who prefer longer treatments, as well as for acupuncture sessions.

With this update, there will be a small pricing change: 📅 Starting February 1st, 20-minute follow-up appointments will be $60.

To summarize: • Maintenance follow-ups will now be 20 minutes • 30 and 45-minute appointments remain available to those that want them • As of February 1st, 20-minute follow-ups will be $60

Please know that this change does not affect your treatment style or the care you receive during your appointment.

As this year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you—for your continued support, your trust, and for allowing me to be part of your care. It’s truly an honour to work with such an incredible community.
