Join us in welcoming Dr. Supriya Aryal to the Ottawa South Optometry Team! We are so excited to have her and she is looking forward to serving our wonderful patients!
Dr. Aryal obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2025, where she was recognized with the Canadian Association of Optometrists Leadership Award. She is passionate about equitable access to eye care and has volunteered in northern Saskatchewan and the Philippines, providing optometric services to underserved communities. Clinically, Dr. Aryal has a special interest in pediatric optometry and binocular vision, and she is excited to serve the KW area. She is also committed to advancing the field through research and is currently pursuing graduate studies investigating the functional impacts of amblyopia (“lazy eye”) in children. Outside of her clinical and academic work, Supriya enjoys travelling, hiking, and exploring new restaurants and cafés.
