This time of year, the combination of dry indoor air and frequent hand washing can cause our nails to become brittle.

There are several things you can do at home to help strengthen your nails, but don’t forget that diet and nutrition play an important role too. Eating foods that are iron-rich and high in protein can support the maintenance of strong nails.

Considering adding a supplement to your daily routine? Be sure to speak with our pharmacist first to make sure it does not affect any medications you are currently taking.

If you’ve ever had a small fluid-filled blister on or around your lips, you’ve probably had a cold sore.

These blisters are caused by a virus. Although they can be very uncomfortable and unsightly, they are not dangerous, and often heal within a few weeks without leaving a mark.

If you’re concerned you might have a cold sore, we’re here to help. our pharmacist can assess your symptoms, discuss your options, and if appropriate, prescribe the most suitable medication to treat it.

Our pharmacist can also recommend ointments, lip balms, and pain medications to help you feel better faster.

Got your first nasty cold of the season? That sore throat, runny nose, and/or mild cough is probably going to last one to two weeks.

Although you can be contagious throughout the time you have symptoms, you’re most likely to infect someone else during the first few days. If you can, stay home to rest and recover, and reduce the risk of passing it on to someone else, particularly those around you who may be at risk of complications.

Who Can Get Vaccinated Now?
