That's what pretty much my father said. But you know what, it hurt me. It wasn't helpful at all to my life or marriage. It was just another small insult from my father. The man who was supposed to love and protect me as I grew into a confident young woman. But he didn't, and I didn't grow into a convenient young woman under his care. I'm growing into a confident old woman without his influence. 🧡🙏

Have NOT wanted to cook lately as I’ve been under the weather, and being able to throw a bunch of jars in a pot and call it dinner is the best thing ever.
