Finished up this little read at the cottage. I’ve been trying to learn more about neurodiversity because there’s so many 35-50+ folks out there who have been misdiagnosed or undiagnosed completely. I find myself asking a lot lately - “how does the narrative of your struggle shift if we view it through a lens of neurodiversity?”

Finished off my day listening to the wisdom of Gabor Mate. As a CBT toting Addiction Therapist frustrated with why people weren’t changing, hearing Gabor talk about trauma back in the day before addiction work was really even talking about trauma was a complete awakening as to how we needed to do addiction work differently.
