Holiday gatherings can get noisy, and for those with hearing loss (even mild hearing loss), it can be tough to keep up with conversations.

Here are a few simple ways to make communication easier for everyone at the table:

1. Get their attention before you start speaking
2. Face them directly so they can see your lips and expressions
3. Turn down background noise when possible
4. Speak clearly and at a natural pace
5. Be patient, it takes effort to fill in the gaps

Small changes like these can make a big difference in helping everyone feel included. Share this post so your friends and family can use these tips, too!
