NERv Technology is now FluidAI!

Our solution has transitioned over the last few years to a complete monitoring platform that integrates with existing catheters to monitor patients during their post-op recovery period. As we look forward to our commercial release, it became evident that we are due for a name change to better reflect our core offering.

FluidAI not only reflects our efforts today, but it falls inline with the future that we are building. FluidAI reflects our evolution from a pure MedTech company to a hybrid; combining the state of the art of nanotechnology sensing, hardware, ML/AI & cloud. Finally, FluidAI reflects our effort to build Healthcare’s biggest library of biomarkers associated with the recovery profile for patients.

Join us in welcoming Olivia Rennie to the team! Olivia has a background in both medicine and the arts, completing studies in Neuroscience and Statistics as well as Theatre, Literature, & Film at the University of Toronto (UofT). She is currently an MD-PhD student at UofT, completing her PhD work in Emergency Medicine.

Olivia is passionate about bridging basic science with clinical outcomes, and in developing innovative technologies to revolutionize patient care. When not working or studying, she is busy as a screenwriter and independent filmmaker, bringing stories of medicine and science to life through film.

Deep has a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with Minor in computer engineering, and is completing an M.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Calgary with focus on of Smart Embedded Devices.

In his free time, Deep enjoys Volleyball, Badminton and Squash.

Manaswi has a background in biotechnology and research. Her previous work at the University of Toronto focused on the validation of a microfluidic chip for cancer diagnostics; and she conducted research in the field of DNA repair in yeast through genome editing.

Outside of work, Manaswi's interests are in digital art and creating beverages!

Join us in welcoming Ali Mojdeh to the NERv team!

Prior to joining NERv, Ali was a biomedical engineering researcher at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University of Toronto and University of Guelph. Ali has worked on various biomedical engineering projects spanning from software development for industrial medical devices to developing AI models for preserving patient privacy.

Outside of work you'd likely find Ali watching or playing soccer, rooting for Manchester United, or writing comedy sets.

Join us in welcoming Lauren Lesergent to our team! Lauren has a background in microfabrication and nanomaterials, and she received her BASc and MASc degrees in Nanotechnology at the University of Waterloo.

Prior to NERv she worked on the fabrication of optoelectronic devices, but her passion for healthcare led her to join NERv as a Research and Development Engineer. When not working, she enjoys baking, bouldering, and being outdoors.
