Today, we recognize World Autism Awareness Day, a global moment to reflect, learn, and take action.

This year’s theme, “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value,” reminds us that inclusion, dignity, and belonging are fundamental human rights. World Autism Awareness Day calls on us to deepen understanding, challenge misconceptions, and celebrate the strengths, perspectives, and contributions of people on the autism spectrum.

Together, let us continue moving beyond awareness toward acceptance and meaningful inclusion—creating spaces where people on the autism spectrum belong, are respected, and can contribute in meaningful ways.

Today, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the lives, contributions, and resilience of trans communities, while also recognizing the inequities many continue to face.

At EAFWR, we are committed to fostering communities where everyone feels a true sense of belonging, where people are valued, included, and able to show up as their full selves. This includes standing with trans communities today and every day.
