You are all invited to MHCB’s Community New Years Eve party at the Mel Hegland Uniplex on December 31st from 11am-2pm! There will be a family skate from 12-1 as well as lunch, goodie bags, curling, and other games! You won’t want to miss out on the raffle to win a Ninja slow cooker, a kettle, a Bluetooth speaker, and more! Bring your skates if you want to hit the ice and your clean indoor shoes if you want to hit some rocks!

Looking for something fun to do over the holidays? MHCB is hosting a family cookie decorating competition at Churchill on December 23rd at 5pm. The competition will be live streamed on our Instagram so be sure to tune in if you can’t make it in person! There will be BINGO, goodie bags, and loads of great prizes to win like blankets, LEGO sets, outerwear, and more! Staff and students are welcome to bring their family and friends and show off their creativity! Spots for the competition are limited so be sure to come sign up your team of three right at 5pm!

🧠Introducing our new Mental Health Capacity Building Coordinator!🧠

Gracie grew up in La Ronge and is proud of her Métis heritage. She spent the past four years studying and working in Berlin and is happy the be back to her roots! She is passionate about mental health and art and is looking forward to getting to know all of the students through so many fun events that encourage growth, relaxation, and positive mental health this year! We have lots of cool things happening on the horizon so keep an eye out for our next events!
