Made from salvaged fence boards, sanded and cleaned thoroughly. Each board is stenciled and hand painted in acrylic paints. I finished them with three coats of exterior Varathane for protection and to make them suitable for outdoor use.

Measures 11 x 24

Add one to your porch or veranda to welcome your family and friends during the Christmas season.

Can hang or sit indoors or outdoors...you decide 😊

Remember that children's rocking chair I posted a few days ago?

It is completed and ready to find a home with a young child who will enjoy it!

The finish was inspired by a lady I met at a Farmer's Market in Wolfville NS a few years ago. Her work was like sunshine, made you feel happy and warm inside! Thank you for the inspiration Mary Elizabeth Interiors!

I removed the old finish entirely and painted the chair in a variety of fun, funky colors.

The chair is finished with Old Masters Gel Polyurethane to give it a good layer of protection.

It's been awhile folks but I'm slowly coming back around!

This last week I was busy refinishing some pieces for my granddaughter's 5th birthday.

I was able to "marry" three separate pieces to make her a beautiful vanity set for her room.

Now she has a place to get ready for school in the morning, make jewelry or do whatever she wants to do at her vanity 💖

Believe it or not, even that she's only 5, she loved her gift and was especially happy that she can be like her big sister now 🥰

I sanded everything completely back to the wood and painted all a Mantra Green.

My husband and I sanded to give it a light distressing and a glass like finish.

We finished it with a paste finishing wax, just to give it a little extra protection from little 5 year old spills 😉

My husband has been by my side assisting me when I need him.

One day he thought 'Why can't I create something?' He decided to try his hand at Barbed Wire Art and Prickly Art Works was born!!

And that's a wrap!!

Tickle trunk is done, painted it tutti fruiti...as requested by my granddaughter, and added a few bachelor buttons.
She picked out a bunch of stickers for her trunk and has added them to the inside.
She's pretty happy with her finished trunk 💖💖💖
Grandma is pretty happy to be back to painting 🤗

I'm finally able to get back to doing something that brings me peace and tranquility!

I can now leave the stress and anxiety we have been living through thanks to a certain dirty political person's actions!

I'm turning this mini trunk into a "tickle" trunk for my granddaughter 💖

Who out there remembers Mr. Dressup and his tickle trunk??

My granddaughter LOVES being a princess 👸This will be perfect for holding all her dresses and accessories 💖💕

It may not be as easy as I thought it would be, thanks to my helpers 🤔........ helpers that I don't really want lol!

Finally...some peace for my brain 😉

I have been a collector of things for many years. My weakness, my husband says, is dishes....all kinds from serving bowls to platters. If it's unique and/or funky I will buy it!

I went through some of my boxes of treasures yesterday and thought I better sell some of my collection so they can be used and appreciated by someone other than me.

I hope my pieces will find their way to a home that will display and use them. I have not been honoring them by keeping them in a box!

I've had to take a step back the last few weeks as my Post Concussion Syndrome has reared its ugly head! 🤯
Today I am going to force myself to get back to work on my projects. I find that repurposing a piece has a very therapeutic effect on me and my pain level is down enough now that I can move forward again 🤗
I do have some pieces on consignment at The Tin Chicken in Ponoka of which I am attaching pictures of.
The Tin Chicken is a wonderful store carrying local crafters pieces, stop in and have a look around!
