We are pleased to announce the Annual Home Town Tourist Weekend is June 18 & 19, 2022. We live in a community renowned for its natural beauty, waterfront, friendly people, arts, history and festivals! We invite all residents to discover our Central Vancouver Island communities of Ladysmith, Cassidy, Cedar, South Nanaimo, Saltair and Chemainus. The annual Hometown Tourist weekend offers locals an opportunity to discover some of the special attractions and shops and services in their own hometown. Often we overlook the treasures that are in our community. This campaign serves to remind us of the wonders that are literally in our backyard. Grab your camera and get ready to play tourist in your hometown. Amazing things happen in a small town! Always something happening at Ladybug's Mew in Yellow Point.

Dewey here... I have been checking out my Mum's Green and Hoop House. Well I don't really check out the Green House as my Mum has the door closed all the time and it is heated. These tomato plants are coming along quite nicely. When you are ready for tomato plants you need to check in with our Garden Centre! You can also pre order to ensure you have the best 😺.
I do hang out in the Hoop House as my Mum opens the doors everyday as it can get really warm in there. My Mum knows I go in there, she is not 100% on what I do do in there she thinks I am making sure it is free of those mice that ate all her squash seeds last year...she was not impressed in having to buy extra seeds. I do like the warmth as well 😺, especially if my Mum and Dad go out and leave me outside.

Don't forget we are growing your tomato plants!
