Have you been wanting to learn how you can use Reiki Energy Healing for yourself and others? I am thrilled to be offering Reiki Level 1 at the end of July.

You will learn Reiki history, energy anatomy, protocols, and have plenty of time for hands-on practice and questions. This energy modality helps clear energy blockages, balances the body systems and chakras so you can assist anyone who is ill or anyone who could just use an energy boost. You will leave with the tools you need to start using Reiki on yourself, family, friends, and pets.

Ok personal share time!

When I signed up for Reiki Level 1, I really had no expectations. I was revved up with curiosity and excitement for what I would learn. In my limited experience so far, I knew Reiki could help me with headaches, and pain in my body. What ended up being the gift to me from this class was a surprise. Towards the end of the course the teacher selected me to receive a treatment. I climbed on the table and tried to relax my body ready for whatever would come. As soon as she laid her hands on me and I felt the incredible warm, loving energy coming into me I started to cry. She encouraged me to let it out, so I just let it come. Eventually my tears turned into sobs that shook my entire body. I felt like she touched a place deep inside of me that I was storing so much sadness and grief. Although I felt emotionally and physically wrung out afterwards, I also felt this lightness that I had never experienced before. I think crying can be incredibly therapeutic. I know it is not everyone’s comfort zone but sometimes a good cry can give you emotional relief and a change in perspective.

When I was first introduced to Reiki it was the physical relief that I got that really caught my attention. I was menstruating at that point in my life and had experienced extremely painful cramps for my entire life. As my family wasn’t into taking drugs for things I just put up with the pain as part of that week every month. Then, I was visiting my mom who was hosting a Reiki practice at her house and the Reiki session completely removed the menstrual pain - immediately. This experience ignited in me a strong desire to find out how else this Reiki energy might help me.

Now I have the pleasure of helping clients both in person and via distance have their own healing experiences.
