It's been a wild week of Rolling Incense!

4 batches rolled each night for six days✨

The early hush of incense conjuring..
Before the shaping, before the burn ✨

just a bowl of powdered forest and spice.
Balsam fir, spruce, orange peel, cassia bark, nutmeg, clove bud, benzoin gum, cedar leaf… each ground slowly, each carrying its own memory of winter.

I rarely pause to document this part.
It’s quiet, meditative, and messy.
The aroma clings to my hands, and the work pulls me inward. But here it is...
the beginning of the Yuletide blend, caught in its raw, fragrant form.

Incense for the thinning veil.

Crafted under October’s hush with agarwood, makko bark, black fasoukh, yarrow, fennel seed, sage, and frankincense.

each aromatic bliss chosen for its power to summon, protect, and guide.

Bound in a cider cauldron brewed over three days with my little who stirred with a smile and a giggle that echoed through the veil. We added clove, cinnamon, orange peel, local apples, and honey from nearby hives.

The scent is wild and spiced

like orchard fire, like ancestral breath, like the moment the veil parts and the old ones step through.

Burn it for shadow work
Burn it when the wind shifts and the veil thins.
Burn it when you need to remember who you are.

Life has been moving at a gentle forest pace as I balance motherhood, mushroom baskets, food prep, and incense conjuring.

Daily foraging for wild mushrooms in the moss will always be a nourishing experience here on the west coast.

I allow the creative process to unfold organically, much like my new Halloween and Samhain inspired incense blends made with true aromatic plants; carefully crafted for ritual and remembrance.

I'll be sharing updates on where to find me and what's new in the shop this week.

Sunflower Aroma Healing is a soulful expression of a woman who wanders down the crooked path of vibrancy; specializing in natural aromatherapy products, topical medicinal remedies, bath blends and unique cold-processed soaps. • • Jeny began this journey many years ago. She was a small girl who loved to run through the old farm fields of Ontario smelling every wild flower her little nose could reach. She still remembers exactly how sweet the tall grasses smelled in the middle of a hot summer's afternoon while twirling through a sea of milkweed. She remembers pulling the tall sunflowers down from the blue sky to press her face right into the centre... it was then that she had discovered her most favourite aromatic being of nature. • • The Sunflower! • • The magic of nature keeps her inspired and connected to the deep rhythms of conjuring aroma healing potions for her fellow friends and community; brewed in a small, yet humble kitchen, over a bubbling pot she works her magick. She believes that aroma can heal a broken heart, soothe an anxious mind and caress the physical body in ways that can influence harmonious wellness. • • Wandering through the lands of forest and meadow she delicately harvests flowers, wild plants, tree foliage and herbs for a beautiful healing experience.
