This is the most complex incense I make, built from a long list of botanicals and resins that each bring their own role to the final burn.

The cedar leaf is snipped as my son says "Thank you Cedar Tree for your gift"

australian sandalwood ethically-sourced

Palo Santo, lavandin, white copal, makko bark...

Just to name a few!
•
Each ingredient is soaked in lavender water to soften the fibers and deepen the aroma before grinding.
•
I hand‑grind each component to different consistencies: some fine, some coarse
so the blend burns slowly, evenly, and with layered aromatic release.
•
Once everything is sifted and combined, it becomes a powder that carries both herbal and resinous notes, designed for d r e a m work, deep rest, and gentle unwinding.
•
A lot of steps (and I only listed half), a lot of intention, and a blend that rewards the time it takes to make.

Each bundle of incense I make begins as a quiet moment at the worktable.

plants ground by hand, resins warmed between my palms, intentions whispered into the mix.

I craft in small batches so every stick carries the fullness of its ingredients and the care of the process.
•
These little runs mean nothing is rushed, nothing is mass‑produced, and every blend has its own subtle personality.
•
When a batch is gone, it’s truly gone 🌼
making space for the next season, the next feeling, the next story.

back when I was all salt‑wind and psychedelic instinct, wandering the southern tip of the Big Island with nothing but trust, generosity, and a wide‑open heart.

i was naive in moments that make me smile now, too giving in all the ways that sometimes hurt later, but I knew how to live fully. Clothing optional.
•
i knew how to throw myself into a place, a moment, a life that felt bigger than me. fearlessly wandering the lava fields for kilometers with a little satchel of animal crackers and not enough water.
•
looking back at her feels like looking at the spark that lit everything that came after. She didn’t know what she was crafting yet: in herself or in the world.

Some days the herbs and resins blend themselves,
the rhythm of crafting feels almost effortless.
•
Other days everything slows down and asks for patience, for breath. It’s a rhythm so many of us share: the play, the grind, and the quiet space in between.
•
Mindfulness can be as simple as noticing those shifts.
The soft pause before beginning again, the way incense smoke curls upward and reminds us to meet our days with a little more gentleness.
•
We’re all learning how to balance effort and ease, and there’s something comforting in knowing we’re doing it together.

🌿✨ Moving a little slower this year… ✨🌿

As the chilly season continues to ebb & flow, I am choosing to follow little foot steps into the woods without an itinerary.

Softening our pace, tending to home, my own needs and making space for the intentional days that small children ask of us.

Markets will be fewer this year as I have shifted the creative energy inward // listening closely to what my family needs and honoring the quieter rhythms calling us.

And in that spirit of gentle unfolding…
we’re overjoyed to share that our family is growing. I’m 16 weeks pregnant, and we’ll be welcoming a new little beee beee in July. 🌙🤍

Sunflower Aroma Healing is a soulful expression of a woman who wanders down the crooked path of vibrancy; specializing in natural aromatherapy products, topical medicinal remedies, bath blends and unique cold-processed soaps. • • Jeny began this journey many years ago. She was a small girl who loved to run through the old farm fields of Ontario smelling every wild flower her little nose could reach. She still remembers exactly how sweet the tall grasses smelled in the middle of a hot summer's afternoon while twirling through a sea of milkweed. She remembers pulling the tall sunflowers down from the blue sky to press her face right into the centre... it was then that she had discovered her most favourite aromatic being of nature. • • The Sunflower! • • The magic of nature keeps her inspired and connected to the deep rhythms of conjuring aroma healing potions for her fellow friends and community; brewed in a small, yet humble kitchen, over a bubbling pot she works her magick. She believes that aroma can heal a broken heart, soothe an anxious mind and caress the physical body in ways that can influence harmonious wellness. • • Wandering through the lands of forest and meadow she delicately harvests flowers, wild plants, tree foliage and herbs for a beautiful healing experience. Sunflower magick is infused in most of every bit of potion conjured.
