Yin Yoga with a Somatic Lens

Join us for a somatic exploration of Yin Yoga. Saturday February 28th from 10:30am -11:30am at the Caleb Pike Heritage Park Schoolhouse.

Yin Yoga is a slower pace, holding poses for 4 minutes, this allows for more focus on the mind body connection.

The pacing is perfect for a somatic practice. Jessica Burn will lead the yoga practice while JoAnn Hill (Registered Clinical Counselor, Registered Massage Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) will guide participants through a a practice of increasing self awareness and learning how to hear the language of the body.

In a world where we are often living in our head this workshop opens up the potential to learn more about how your body communicates and how to begin to recognize what different nervous system states feel like in the body.

Cost: $40.00
