We were so lucky to have not one, but two incredibly talented choirs grace us with their voices this month: the Senior Opus Singers and the Aequitas Choir. 💛

Beautiful harmonies, toe-tapping tunes, and more than a few residents singing right along, it was the kind of afternoon that stays with you long after the last note.

Thank you both for sharing your gift with our community. We are endlessly grateful. 🎵✨

Our residents know how to have a good time, and our March Pub Night was proof! Johnny Elvis brought the energy and the toe tapping tunes, and our residents brought the fun. 🎶

Yesterday we were treated to an incredible live performance by a talented brother and sister duo. From Archie & Edith to Sonny & Cher to Dolly & Kenny, they brought the house down!

Our residents have been busy getting creative! 🎨💕

At this month’s Creative Canvas session, imaginations came to life with beautiful artwork and plenty of smiles. From thoughtful brushstrokes to mixes various of colours, everyone embraced their inner artist and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of creativity.

We also celebrated Valentine’s Day in style with a special vase painting activity. Each resident painted their own unique masterpiece — the perfect keepsake to brighten their space or hold a bouquet of fresh flowers. 🌷❤️

It was wonderful to see so much talent, laughter, and love shared throughout these creative moments. We are so proud of the beautiful pieces created and the joy that filled the room.

Love and celebration filled the air at Harrison Landing! ❤️

We kicked things off on February 13 with our “Love at First Scoop” ice cream social, because nothing says Valentine’s Day like a sweet treat shared with friends. 🍨

Afterward, Cheek to Cheek set the perfect romantic tone with their wonderful performance, filling the room with music and smiles. 🎶💕

The fun continued on February 17 with a festive Mardi Gras celebration, complete with delicious beignets fritters and plenty of lively spirit. 🎭✨

So much joy, laughter, and sweet moments shared together! 💜

The Harrisons (Harrison Landing & Harrison Pointe) were built by two long-time local businessmen, Ralph Giuriato and Glenn Bell. With their own parents aging, they recognized a need in Langley for a community that provides seniors and disabled adults with the accommodations and services required to meet the needs of their physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. The Harrisons wish to provide dignity, hope, security and meaning so that residents can enjoy their lives regardless of their circumstance.

We believe that advancing age and physical frailty or disability should not be barriers to independent living. Easy access to flexible, optional support services such as those offered at a Harrison Residence will enable many seniors to live the rest of their lives within the community.

Harrison Residences provide independent living suites that are true apartment style residences complete with fully functional kitchens, gas or electric fireplaces and sundecks, combined with laundry and housekeeping services, meals, 24-hour security and nurse call, community activity areas, recreational activities and wellness programs designed to keep you healthy, active, independent and safe.
