🌸 Cultivating Love and Tolerance

"Poverty" is not only about money, it can also mean a lack of important qualities in life:
a lack of awareness, effort, sincerity, service, loving thoughts, perseverance, tolerance, and a giving heart.

Among these, a lack of tolerance is especially meaningful.

When we are not tolerant, we may judge others too harshly,
and no matter how capable or sincere we are, we may struggle to be accepted and loved.

I gently cultivate a spirit of love and tolerance:

I am one with universal energy.
As I am held in compassion,
infinite compassion flows through me, touching every being.

📸 Why don’t I have many pictures of me doing Reiki?

Because during Reiki session, my hands and heart are fully with the person in front of me.

Sometimes clients ask for a photo together, and those moments are always special.🥰

It’s not that sessions are private, but the relationship with each client is.💓

What I do remember, always, are the connections—the trust, the quiet smiles, the little shifts in energy.

Those are the moments I carry with me, long after the session ends. 💫

❄️Why is figure skating so popular in Japan?⛸️⛸️

As I reflect on it, I see several cultural reasons.

It’s not just about sport.
It feels like watching moving poetry on ice.

Storytelling through movement is powerful.

Japan tends to appreciate mastery that is both technical and spiritual — not loud, but deeply refined through:
beauty,
dedication,
self-discipline,
sensitivity,
and subtle expression.

Ice dancing combines athleticism with refined artistry, musical interpretation, and emotional restraint - qualities that align with traditional aesthetics found in the tea ceremony, calligraphy, and even martial arts, etc.

These emotional tones deeply resonate with many Japanese viewers.😊

Congratulations to team Japan🇯🇵
Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara delivered an incredible comeback performance in the pairs free skate, setting a world-record score for the free program and finishing with the highest overall total to take gold.

From my journal — 2019
🌿

After my client’s very first Jikiden Reiki session today,

She said, "Reiki is like peeling an onion, one thin layer at a time, isn’t it? "

I smiled.. yes.
My great sensei 千代子先生 said that too. ☺️

I love this practice, gentle, onion peeling service.💕✨️

One of the reasons I love Reiki is that it is gentle. Nothing is forced.

Jikiden Reiki

The word " Reiki " 靈氣 has been around for thousands of years in Japan and China.

Jikiden Reiki is Reiki as it was originally taught in Japan. As a Jikiden Reiki teacher, I make a strong effort to keep practice and teaching as faithful as possible to the original methods taught by Chiyoko Yamaguchi.

The founder of Reiki technique, Usui Mikao passed down his teachings to Chijuro Hayashi, one of the 20 original teachers of Reiki. Chiyoko Yamaguchi, founder of the Jikiden Reiki Institute, learned Reiki directly from Mr. Hayashi and practiced Reiki for over 65 years. Jikiden Reiki Seminars are taught in the original tradition passed down from Usui Sensei to Hayashi Sensei to Chiyoko Sensei.

In Jikiden Reiki, we don't work with set hand positions, but we focus treatment on the areas where there are accumulations of toxins. It is not just relaxation or spiritual growth. Reiki facilitates the connection between the mind, body and spirit, creating a sense of overall wellness in the body. When you learn Jikiden Reiki, you can use it in your life every day to help yourself and those around you. It can make such a difference in your life and your loved ones. Reiki balances body, mind and spirit through light, gentle, non-intrusive touch.
