Day 12 – The Threshold
The final day of Yuletide marks a crossing. Not a demand for transformation, but an invitation.
Thresholds are sacred because they acknowledge transition, not perfection.
Today’s Magic:
Wash your hands or face.
Light a candle and say:
“I step forward gently, carrying what I need.”
Yuletide ends, but its wisdom carries on.

✨ Scrying ✨
Scrying is one of the oldest forms of divination. Older than cards, older than books, older than words meant to explain it.
Water.
Smoke.
Mirrors.
Flame.
Stone.
Scrying is not about seeing visions on command. It’s about softening the gaze and letting the mind slip into symbolism, intuition and knowing.
When you scry, you are not forcing answers.
You are using a still surface and waiting to see what rises.

✨ You may feel emotions
✨ You may receive nothing at all and that is still part of the practice
Scrying teaches patience, discernment and trust in subtle perception. It asks you to slow down, stop interpreting too quickly and let meaning arrive in its own time.

A candle flame.
A quiet moment.
No expectations.
No performance.
Just presence.

Day 11 – Joy
(This one is a day late because we couldn’t get on here yesterday for some reason…)
Joy was never frivolous in winter traditions. It was intentional, a refusal to let darkness claim the spirit entirely.
Laughter, music and pleasure were acts of resistance.
Today’s Magic:
Do something unnecessary but delightful. A trip to the river in winter? Eat a fistful of cookies like you’re 12? Whatever!

Our mission is to create a beautiful learning and healing environment both in personal and spiritual growth, for people in our community through the neighboring communities by helping people to empower themselves and BURN BRIGHT.
We decided in 2015 to take our market business and open an actual brick and mortar shoppe; a unique place where people could connect with like-minded individuals in a safe and respectful space. While growing up in very separate worlds, we didn’t have a place like this and we always felt that something was missing. Our initial vision was to be the premiere Metaphysical shoppe in B.C. that offers a spiritual sanctuary of knowledge, respect, trust and love for people from all walks of life. Since our grand opening in December 2015, our little shoppe has quickly become a hub for people of all kinds and we now support over 70 (edit; it is now 90 in October 2018) local artists.
