I’m Katie! I like the quiet life, the simple life, the immersed in wilderness life. Moments spent smiling, lighting internal fires, & speaking without words. I dance to the song in my head, speak with the rhythm of my heart, & live from the depth of my soul. I am a story. A forest of dark mistakes. A river of utterly new & unique bends. A garden of never ending growth. I am willingness to share my story, shortcomings & strengths; to bare them without fear, to own up to them, to hide no part of myself back.
I tell my story with messy hair, dirty bare feet, & sparks of fire in my eyes. I tell my story in hopes we may find common threads to open new doors, to unmask old masks, to peel back layers within one another. To stand beside one another, not in front of, nor behind. I teach yoga, create things from my garden, & bring community together because those are the things that make me feel alive. To get up everyday & do the things that make me feel most alive...that is the kind of life my soul is damn proud of.
