Our Langley Pilates and Yoga Studio offers a fun, relaxing, compassionate, and understanding environment where you can be comfortable starting out as an absolute beginner or challenging your existing skills. Evolution Studios' certified and specialized instructors are dedicated to giving you the best possible experience. Our instructors have been through internationally recognized comprehensive training programs, each bringing with them a different style and approach to Pilates and Yoga. Our goal is to truly teach you what Pilates and Yoga are by helping you understand how your body moves so you can reach your full potential. We keep our Pilates and Yoga class sizes small so that our instructors can provide more individualized attention to you, making sure you are doing exercises safely and effectively. We understand that every person is unique. There is no "one size fits all" Pilates and Yoga class - our instructors offers modifications to tailor the class to your needs so that each person can benefit from our classes.

The practice of Surya Namaskar yoga sequence is a challenging but spiritually and physically beneficial routine often done on special occasions, such as the change of seasons, to welcome change, letting go of the old to invite new energy. This practice builds endurance, fosters mental clarity, and promotes a deeper connection to the self and cosmos. The practice involves a continuous flow of 12 poses per salutation, synchronized with the breath, and can provide benefits such as improved cardiovascular health, flexibility, detoxification, and emotional balance.

Meet Gabby – Our New Reformer Teacher

Gabby’s path into Pilates is rooted in a lifelong dedication to movement. She graduated with distinction from Simon Fraser University in 2014, earning a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Counselling, while simultaneously building an 18-year career teaching acrobatics and tumbling. That experience gave her a rare depth of knowledge in strength, flexibility, and body awareness—skills that naturally drew her into the Pilates method.

In early 2023, Gabby began intensive training in classical Pilates at Pilates from the Centre, and she has continued to refine her practice ever since. This September, she will advance her education further under the mentorship of Matilda Christensen and Veronica McClurg at the Pacific Coast Pilates Academy.

What drives Gabby is simple: the transformation she experienced in her own training fuels her passion to share it with others. She believes Pilates offers more than exercise—it’s a way to build strength, create balance, and move with clarity and ease.

Gabby brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a deep respect for the Pilates method to every session. We’re excited to welcome her to the Evolution Studios team, and we know you’ll feel the difference she brings the moment you step onto the reformer with her.
