Portugal and me...
I've been back for three weeks now. As I moved out of my apartment in Val-David to go to Portugal for September, it was with the intention of discovering possibilities to live there for half of the year and live in Quebec for the other half of the year. It has now become clear that it's not really viable for me at this moment. The last three weeks, I settled down with my man in Ste-Lucie and got to work on how to reestablish myself here. And it has been flowing so easily, which, for me, is a good sign :)
I now have a place to work in Val Morin, just two minutes away from where I was before. It's a small yoga place in a private house. My clients this week all loved it. It's in a quiet neighbourhood and lovely. I will be working there one to two times a week, on Thursdays and sometimes on Tuesdays.
I am also going to rent a place in Mont Tremblant. My vision is that my massage clients from the South will see me in Val-Morin. The place in Tremblant is a professional clinic for my clientele from the North, and I will focus more on my body-mind coaching and therapeutic body-conscious approach.
In Tremblant, I will be available from the middle of November onwards, either on Tuesday or Wednesday. To be decided at the beginning of November.

What a wonderful autumn we had, so much sun! It helps for staying active, even when the temperatures drop and the light is fading. Still, if you have trouble with transitioning to the cold, I recommend my annual autumn package, which includes three sessions. It is particularly for this transition time.

Nourishing Earth Meditation
As we are in a transitional time, and according to Chinese medicine, it's the fifth season, which corresponds to the Earth element, I invite you to be guided into this nourishing Earth meditation.
Sit down comfortably in a quiet spot, close your eyes, and allow yourself to calm down.
Now, allow yourself to see, feel, imagine, or think about the colour orange, in whatever way orange can be present for you. We are all different and have preferred ways of imagining something. The colour orange is associated with the Earth Element in Chinese medicine.
Once you have orange in your mind, notice what happens in your body. Does it resonate somewhere?
If it's somehow negative for you, allow your thoughts and thinking to connect with something positive about orange. Like the beautiful autumn leaves, maybe a sunset, oranges, pumpkins, orange juice, or whatever it is that gives you some positive sense or feeling.
Stay with this positive feeling that's related to orange in your body. Let it spread throughout and allow it to permeate. When other thoughts arise, allow them to come and let them go, always returning to the sense, feeling, seeing, or thinking of orange. We are all different in our senses, so you could have any way of imagining orange.
Continue for as long as it feels good and for at least five minutes.
Once you come out of it, notice: how do you feel now? Has your vision changed? Does your body have different sensations now?
