With only two days left until Nowruz, a time that is meant to be filled with joy, renewal, and connection… many of us living far from home are carrying a quiet heaviness.
We prepare our Haft-Seen, we clean, we try to hold onto traditions—but our hearts are elsewhere. This year, something feels incomplete.
Not because of distance… but because of silence.
For many of us, even a simple phone call to our loved ones is not possible right now. No voices. No laughter. No “Happy Nowruz” exchanged across continents. Just waiting… and hoping.
Nowruz has always been about new beginnings, light after darkness, and the strength of connection. And maybe this year, more than ever, we understand how precious that connection truly is.
To our families back home: you are in our thoughts every moment.
And to everyone feeling this same ache—you are not alone.
May this Nowruz still bring light, even through the distance. 🌱
