Celebrating Love, Community, and the Spirit of Giving.

This beautiful moment captures Ruby Baker and her late husband, Len, sharing a smile that lit up our halls for so many years. Their warmth, kindness, and unwavering love have been a gift to our entire community — and a reminder of what truly matters: connection, compassion, and belonging.

As we embrace the holiday season, we reflect on the joy our residents bring to Leamington Mennonite Home every single day. Their stories, their friendships, and their resilience are the heart of our mission.

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we invite our community to join us in supporting the residents who call LMH home. Giving Tuesday is a global movement dedicated to generosity and charitable giving. Your generosity helps us continue to provide safe, vibrant, and meaningful spaces where moments like this can flourish — moments filled with laughter, dignity, and love.

❤️ Give in honour of someone you cherish.
❤️ Give to help us continue creating a home where every resident feels valued and connected.

Thank you for being part of our story — and for helping us ensure that the spirit of care lives on for generations to come. Support LMH this Giving Season!

Thank you on behalf of the residents.

✨ Thank You to Wharram’s Jewellery ✨

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jessica Wharram from Wharram's Jewellery Ltd. for her incredible generosity and artistry.

Jessica custom-designed a stunning necklace and graciously donated it to the Leamington Mennonite Home, giving someone the chance to win this beautifully crafted piece at the 60th Diamond Celebration this month.

This gesture is especially meaningful, as Jessica’s grandmother once lived here at the Mennonite Home — a connection that makes this donation even more heartfelt. In her own words, Jessica often speaks about how jewellery carries stories from generation to generation — a way of keeping loved ones close and memories alive. Her dedication to preserving family sentiment and transforming heirlooms into timeless modern treasures truly shines through in every piece she creates.

Thank you, Jessica, for sharing your talent, compassion, and the legacy of love behind your work. Your gift reminds us all of the beauty in memory, family, and community.

Major congratulations to Janet Flaming on winning the stunning diamond necklace!

Thank you to the 16 wonderful vendors who joined us for our Artisan Market on Friday, November 14th!

It was a truly successful day enjoyed by our residents, community members, and even our staff! The energy, creativity, and connection throughout our Home made it a memorable event for everyone.

A special thank you to our Ladies’ Auxiliary for their support and hard work throughout the day, especially at the beloved dessert station!

With pie sales included, we’re proud to share that $1,200 was raised, all of which will directly support our residents in both Long-Term Care and Retirement Living.

We’re grateful for everyone who helped make this day so meaningful, and we look forward to hosting the next one!

A Community of Care

The Leamington Mennonite Home & Apartments is a faith-centered, charitable, non-profit organization supported by eight Mennonite Brethren Churches in our community. Founded in 1964 in response to the growing needs of seniors, our community of care provides holistic care and support to seniors and the frail elderly. Our Home is the only not-for-profit Home in Southwestern Ontario.

We seek to provide the best possible individualized care to all of our residents. Our community of care enables seniors and the frail elderly to age in one retirement community that can respond to all their needs. This is a visionary model - our organization consists of the Long Term Care Home, Retirement Residence, Homeview and Pickwick Apartments, Gardens Condominiums, and Heritage Townhouses.
