If you’re feeling a dip in mood or energy this season, here are some simple but powerful ways to care for your mental well-being:
☀️ Get morning sunlight — Even 15–30 minutes can help regulate your internal clock and improve your mood
🏃‍♂️ Move your body — Gentle movement like walking, yoga, or stretching increases energy and resilience
🧠 Stay connected — Social interaction (even virtually) helps reduce isolation and boosts emotional health

As the days get shorter and darker, it’s completely normal to notice shifts in your mood, energy, and motivation. You may feel the urge to “hibernate” — sleep more, do less, or pull away from others.
But for some, this seasonal change leads to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) — a type of depression that typically begins in the fall or winter months. If you’ve been feeling persistently down, tired, or off-routine lately, it’s not just in your head — and it’s okay to ask for help.
