Once a date is rescheduled for our first meeting, the event will be posted to this website as well. Abortions are now being offered in the Lethbridge hospital up to 13 weeks!

Previously, only self-managed medication abortions were available until 9 weeks.

Patients beyond 13 weeks will still need to travel to Calgary.

All referrals must come from Pro-Choice YQL. Patients can reach us at 587-257-6833.

Alert for q***r racialized therapists!

If you’re looking for a brave and supportive space to gather, learn, and build solidarity with other Two-Spirit, q***r and trans therapists of colour, this consultation group might be a place where you belong.

Join Shadi K for small-group consultation every four weeks, where we can bring cases, but also talk about how the work, and the world at large, impact us as q***r racialized professionals.

Shadi specializes in relational and societal trauma, bringing compassion and an intersectional lens to their understanding of human struggles. They primarily practice Somatic Transformation and are trained in EMDR. Their work is also informed by Response-Based Practice, which was developed within anti-violence work, and focuses on dignity. Scroll down to learn more about Shadi.

This offering is designed for a small cohort with no more than 8 people so that you can build meaningful relationships with one another; there is also access to a private chat group so you can remain connected between sessions.
