A Smile in Every Bottle: Sicks’ Breweries Ltd celebrates the 100th anniversary of Old Style Pilsner (first brewed here in 1926) and shows how Lethbridge’s family-run brewery became a global leader in beer production and distribution.

Down in the Valley demonstrates how the Oldman River is vital for life on the prairies. How has the Oldman River landscape changed throughout human history?

Dried Out: Prohibition in Alberta examines how the moral and political crusade to ban alcohol had unintended consequences, both good and bad.
Launch Party Highlights: Beer tastings; board games & yard games (bean bag toss and more); patio party & BBQ; exhibit tours; Hwy 3 Ale Trail breweries featured as part of the exhibition.

As an added treat, The Hwy 3 Ale Trail is a featured part of the Smile in Every Bottle exhibition, and we’ve invited representatives from the beer trail to join us for the event!

This little guy imaged great during the 3D scan at 36 weeks! I wouldn’t recommend coming that late in the pregnancy because it could be really crowded in there, but in this case worked great because he was looking up and there was amniotic fluid in front of the face!
So…it’s never too late to try! The good thing is that the facial features are well developed by 36 weeks

This is a realistic 3D image with the umbilical cord in front of the very cute face!! Look at those lips 👄 We try to eliminate structures in front of the face but sometimes it’s not possible if they are too close. Thanks Mom for sharing …

Here we have a beautiful newborn baby girl!! Even though her 3D scan wasn’t perfect we can definitely see similarities!

Ultrasound Preview has been a non-diagnostic imaging clinic for many years. As indicated on the website there is a charge for this service as clearly noted. This service is not covered by Alberta Health Care and is considered a bonus for pregnant women to enjoy! There is no attempt to diagnose or give advice…designed only for keepsake purposes.
The session can’t help but give extra information and comfort to the family unit in attendance!

Thanks to Mom for sharing this side-by-side comparison. So adorable and look at all that hair! We do see hair on the 2D ultrasound image. More common to see hair on the back of the head, but in some cases we can even see it on the top!

I ask Mom to try to put her newborn in a similar position as they were in during the 3D ultrasound scan. There’s no denying those lips are cute 🥰

Ever heard the saying? “ don’t shoot the messenger”
… well I’m only the messenger.

I’ve been scanning pregnant women for many years, even 2 generations in the same family unit! Most folks are wanting to see the s*x of their baby, and I’m proud to say that when I’ve said I’m sure about whether it’s a BOY or GIRL I’ve never been wrong! Before 20 weeks I give a percentage as to my confidence level. I even offer free scans to confirm. In other words I NEVER guess. I use quality equipment and I’m confident when I say that I doubt if anyone has more experience than I do.
Anyway if I’m confronted with giving parents the news that they are having the 4th boy for example, loving parents take it in their stride.
